Prof. Xing Feng serves as the president of Jinan University and the deputy secretary of the school’s CPC Party Committee. He is also an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a doctoral supervisor, who is mainly engaged in the research of high-performance concrete, durable concrete structure, and resourceful utilization of building solid waste. He has presided over and completed more than 20 projects supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, major research programs, key international cooperation programs, the National Key Research and Development Program of China, and the National Program on Key Basic Research and Development (Program 973). Prof. Xing has edited and co-edited 13 national, industrial and local standards, published 6 academic works and 700-plus journal papers, of which over 470 were included in the Science Citation Index, and owned 147 granted invention patents. He also won 2 second prizes of the State Technology Invention Award, 3 first prizes of provincial and ministerial awards, and 2 second prizes of the National Teaching Achievement Award.
