Feng Qian

Feng Qian

    Feng Qian is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, specializing in automatic control and process systems engineering. He currently serves as a professor and doctoral supervisor at East China University of Science and Technology, holding the position of Chief Scientist at the National Process Manufacturing Intelligent Control Technology Innovation Center and is the Director of the Key Laboratory of Smart Manufacturing in Energy Chemical Process, Ministry of Education. His innovative work includes the development of intelligent control and optimization technologies, software, and systems for ethylene facilities, breakthroughs in key technologies for the operation optimization of the production process of purified terephthalic acid, as well as the development and implementation of core technologies, industrial software, and systems for large-scale oil refining process in China. Professor Qian has received numerous accolades for his contributions, including the National Teaching Achievement Award (First Prize), five National Science and Technology Progress Awards (Second Prize), and over 40 First Prize awards at the provincial and ministerial levels. He holds 88 authorized national invention patents, over 240 registered national computer software copyrights, and has been honored with four Chinese Patent Excellence Awards. Additionally, he has authored four monographs and published over 380 SCI/EI-indexed papers. His research achievements have been recognized as one of the top ten outstanding cases of industry-university-research collaboration in Chinese universities.
