At Xuzhou CUCC 12,000tpd cement plant in south China’s Jiangsu Province, Sinoma activated 11.38MWp solar power and 10MW/20MWh hybrid energy storage, allowing the plant to self-suffice in meeting its peak electricity demand. Notably, the hybrid energy storage system adopts an innovative combination of "lithium iron phosphate and vanadium redox flow battery" technologies.
Upon completion, the project is expected to generate 22 million kWh electricity annually with USD2 million revenue from electricity sales, and reduce CO₂ emissions by 15,000 tons with USD190,000 revenue from carbon credits.
